QField's optimized user interface hides the full power of QGIS under the hood.
QField的设计秉持几个核心理念。
外业软件需求不同于桌面软件。屏幕更小，输入设备和作业任务也都存在差异。
QField aims to help users perform the tasks they need to do without cluttering the user interface. This means, that only tasks which need to be done on the field are availble from the interface. Everything else is not.
这意味着前提为在一台安装了QGIS的计算机上完成基本工作，例如图层样式设置、表单定义以及其他与项目有关的设置。
QField建立在QGIS的基础上。它的确使用了QGIS库，但不是QGIS的重新构建。QField的渲染引擎与QGIS桌面完全相同，因此您的项目在移动设备上与在计算机上看起来是一致的。
在QField中，不应对QGIS项目中已经支持的配置选项进行重新定义。QField使用与QGIS桌面相同的编辑组件。在QGIS桌面中配置好的项目在移动设备上同样可以运行。

QField is built around modes. Modes are similar to a map tool in QGIS desktop. A mode defines the task which a user is currently doing. Either a user is browsing through the data or he/she is digitizing something new.
